Silas and I haven't had our chance to go on a one-on-one yet, due to health or inclement weather. This last Saturday we finally did it! When I asked him where he wanted to go, his first choice was "Grandma's house". After I explained why, while that was a solid choice, it was impossible, he chose "go for bus ride". Since normally a bus ride has a destination, I suggested he and I go to McDonald's for lunch. He was quite agreeable to that, so that is what we did.
He and I had a lot of fun together. Silas loves asking questions and being silly and I really enjoyed uninterrupted time with him. He even asked me why the sky is blue. So funny and so abstract.

I love the picture if him staring out the window! This makes me so happy that we got to spend some time with you guys in Sept and know the kids a little bit now. Sounds like a great date!
