My bad guys, my bad

So it's been what? Two months? My bad. I guess I'm just a bad blogger these days. It's a good thing though, I promise. Yes, there have been many adventures and stories. Yes, we are doing really well. No, no one is checking this anymore because it's been so long.

I will try to update with a real post soon. Or several. Or maybe I will quite the blog. Who knows? I kind of feel like Instagram is my blog now, you know?

I digress.

Doctor Daddy

We are very proud of Rob, as he was recently awarded with his Philosphical Doctorate in Pharmacology. He has spent ten years in university and has dedicated many hours to his projects, all while being a remarkable husband and father. He sets the bar high in all areas of life as he seems to excel at everything he does. Rob is dedicated, thorough, creative, and unique. He strives to be a better man, a better husband, father, researcher, scientist and to be the best he can in any way he can. He truly is one of a kind, and we are so proud of him.

Congratulations Dr. Daddy!

Proud at the podium

Celebrating success.

Love from the amazing supervisor

Papa and Nana 2016

Papa and Nana came last week to celebrate a special event (that I will post about later!) and it was so great to see them. There have been many retellings this week of the indoor playground, the hotel, the pool, watching TV, the new car activities and the fancy restaurant. Thanks for coming!

Waiting and watching.

Dance parties with grandparents are the best kind of dance party.

Their favourite place, ever.

Celebrating! They boys (and the wait staff!) did great!

Ezra's birthday

Seven years has gone by since we struggled to bring this beautiful boy into the world. Seven years since I became a mother and seven years of growth for our whole family. Ezra is interested in learning all he can about anything you'll teach him. He strives to impress and be accepted by all and will help you with any task you ask of him. He is a loving oldest brother and loves to cuddle all of us.

Silas's Birthday

Silas is our imaginative one. With pretend worlds, invisible friends, and lofty goals for the future, Silas sure keeps things interesting. He is very smart; he reads people and shares their lives with extreme detail and care. Silas loves Legos, playing guitar and his long hair. Silas is sensitive and particular, and also a very deep thinker- he comes up with the wildest questions and thoughts. He has really grown in maturity these last few months, with less crying and more talking things out.

Philip's Birthday

Our charming boy turned two on the 14th! I can't believe two years has gone by since our sleepy, tiny, poor nursing baby was born. He is a great eater now though! He is also a great night time sleeper (but naps are very hit and miss, normally he doesn't sleep) and he has several hundred words that he is putting into short sentences. He is playful and silly and quite the little show-off. Philip is a classic mamas boy and can be quite disagreeable when his two year old mind knows better than your fully developed adult one. Some of his favourite activities are: reading books (with you and independently), dancing, watching Netflix, racing matchbox cars, playing dress up and rearranging the furniture.

Our boy on his birthday.

Three boys at age two.

Birthday ice cream!

New books, just his size!

Waiting for Daddy to come home.

Photos

I was making this blog post of photos and I realized I take WAY more photos of Pip than the other two boys- whoops! It's just because he's in the "rapidly-changing-learning-new-things-every-day" toddler stage. I'll write a few more posts before we move, but for now, here is a photo compilation in no particular order, of no particular thing.

Grandma Came!

Christmas catch up

I don't apologize for not posting often enough anymore, but I am behind. So here are some pics of our family celebrating Christmas in 2015!
