6 Weeks

Today I had my six week check up. I've been feeling physically quite well (other than the mastitis which is remarkably better today) so I had no concerns for my doctor today at my appointment. She is happy with my healing as well and told me the inside of my body was "adorable" haha. Then she said, "And I don't say that to everyone so you can safely brag about your cute cervix and ovaries!" She's hilarious.

I was most interested today in learning how much of my placenta was in rough shape, as she had it sent away for pathology tests. During an U/S the technician noted several infarcts and in another there were lakes in the placenta. We had some cord flow issues as well. So I was very surprised when she told me ALL vessels and cords and the placenta were normal. No infarcts. No restrictions. Nothing.

So I said, "I'm confused I thought there were infarcts noted during an U/S?"

She answered, "You're right. I can't explain it."

So there you go people. One more miracle surrounding the birth of one of my children. Thank you for praying. It works :)

Also, Philip weighed 6/8 today! He gained 6 ounces in the last 10 days. More gratitude for your prayers, keep 'em coming!
